Bob has extensive experience investing in and operating electric utilities in the Caribbean. He is a Partner of WRB Serra, Chairman of WRB Energy and Chairman and CEO of WRB Enterprises, a diversified holding company with more than 50 years of experience in the U.S., the Caribbean and Latin America. For 26 years (1994-2020), WRB Enterprises was the majority owner of Grenada Electricity Services (Grenlec), for which he served as Chairman. WRB previously owned majority interests in and successfully divested two other electric utilities: Turks and Caicos Utilities (TCU) and Dominica Electricity Services (Domlec), for both of which Bob served as Chairman. Bob graduated from Emory University with a BA in political science and BA in philosophy.
Robert is a veteran renewable energy executive with more than 30 years of experience sourcing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is President and CEO of WRB Energy, a renewable energy development company. He has developed renewable energy projects, vertically integrated utilities, and sustainable infrastructure in Honduras, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Mauritania, Colombia, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Dominica, and the United States. Robert graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in wildlife management and journalism and earned an MAIA in business and development economics from Ohio University.
Eric has advised, financed, and invested in large infrastructure-related businesses on five continents. He has raised more than $2.4 billion of debt and $2 billion of equity. He has closed more than 25 merger & acquisition and restructuring transactions with a combined value exceeding $1.5 billion. His experience includes work with renewable energy, utility, industrial services, energy efficiency technology and services, and IT infrastructure companies throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Eric graduated from Yale University with a BA in economics and molecular biophysics and biochemistry. He earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Edgar is an experienced construction and operations manager in the Caribbean. Currently, he serves as VP of Project Management at WRB Energy. Previously, he was a project manager at the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy & Mining in Jamaica, and General Manager of Turks and Caicos Utilities and Nevis Electricity Company. He held senior management positions in manufacturing and energy operations at Jamaica Public Service Company, Kingston Container Terminal, and Johnson & Johnson. Edgar graduated from the University of Technology in Jamaica with a diploma in electrical engineering, received a BS in electrical engineering from the University of the West Indies, and earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Ryan has more than ten years of investment experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, utilities, and technology. As Principal, he supports the origination, analysis, execution, and management of WRB Serra’s private investments. Before joining WRB Serra, Ryan worked at Energy Impact Partners, a leading clean energy investment firm funded by a global coalition of utilities, serving on both the equity and debt investment teams. Ryan also worked at public equity hedge fund, Breach Inlet Capital. His career began at Evercore Partners as a generalist on the M&A advisory team. At the University of Florida, he earned a MS/BS dual degree in Finance. He is a CFA® charterholder.
